NO. 01 · THE CONTAGION CHRONICLES

TheThe Yersinia Bull

A shadow with horns.
A legend that never learned to stay buried.

They say the Bull appears where the city lights go quiet. Iron mask, black coat, no explanation. By morning, every old story has found a new witness.

A NOTE LEFT IN THE ARCHIVE

When the bells
forgot to ring.

No one agrees on the first sighting. A shape at the end of a narrow street. A heavy step in the fog. A brass beak catching the last light.

The Yersinia Bull moves through the old quarter as if every locked door has already told him its secrets. He does not speak. The city does it for him.

SUBJECT: THE WANDERER

Iron over
instinct.

Under the mask: a silence older than the streets. Beneath the coat: a patient force, moving only when the hour is right.

He collects no names. He leaves no footprints for long. Still, the crows know him.

Some stories
travel in company.

Find the others who heard the bells. The Bull is still out there, somewhere between the last streetlamp and the edge of the map.
